'The Old Door'

These weathered and battered doors are in Fort Flagler, WA. The fort is over a century old and is no longer in active service but instead is a state park. The base was originally for coastal defense, built to bombard any invading force that might come through the Puget Sound. The massive guns, which could fire shells over 17 miles, were never fired.
